FUTA Our mission is to make household cook cleaner, affordable, and accessible for all. Our two main products are produced from combustible agricultural waste. They are listed as follow:

CleanBurn: This is a carbon-neutral briquette that serves as cheaper alternative to firewood and charcoal. The briquette burns longer and cleaner, and reduces dependency on forest resources.

 

BioChar: This is an organic fertilizer that is produced from agricultural/biomass waste. It is eco-friendly, rich, and a cheaper alternative for farmers in rural communities.

2. Helpmum

UI Helpmum is focussed on bringing healthcare to pregnant women and nursing mothers in both urban and rural communities in Nigeria. We use the power of mobile low cost technologies like sms and voice notification to deliver life-saving information to pregnant women and nursing mothers on their mobile phones. Such Information range from tracking antenatal care date schedule, immunization session and vaccination schedule among others
3. TK Foods

OAU TK Foods and Beverages Ventures specialises in mechanized production of Garri – one of the most treasured staple foods made from cassava, packaged in branded sacks and packs, fortified with Vitamin-A and Protein to meet daily nutritional requirement at an affordable price. Two Qualities have scored Garri low in the international market which are sand content and moisture content, of which our company is addressing. The weekly consumption of Garri in Nigeria is estimated at N9 Billion Naira. TK Foods and Beverages’ produce is for people of all ages independent of sex, location, financial strength and educational standard. It’s sold directly to Hotels, Restaurants, Households, Retail and Wholesale’s shops.
4. Facts Count

UI Facts Count helps transform opinions into facts, and enables the government and the society at large become aware of what people think about certain policies, events, occurrences or persons. We bridge the information gap between the individual and its society. We conduct opinion polls on elections and aspirants in such elections. We conduct polls on socio-political issues every quarter. We also conduct private (paid) polls for individuals and organizations who need to understand the minds, opinions and position of the public on certain issues. We conduct academic polls for students who need them for research purposes and our website is available for advertisement.

FUTA Nasab Realities is a multilevel marketing company in partnership with emerging markets telecommunication service limited. We are ambassador of etisalat brand. We are appointed to sell etisalat enterprise product and service.
6. Comestibles Nigeria

UI Comestibles.com.ng is food E-commerce platform with a belief that everyone everywhere has a right to quick and easy access to food whenever they are hungry. Our goal is to reduce the inefficiencies in the Nigerian food ecosystem by providing real time market information of both cooked meals at restaurants and food items at grocery stores plus farm produce for farmers. We also save time and energy and remove the distance barriers for food Consumers by offering delivery of any food items, meals and foodstuffs from restaurants, grocery stores and farm. Our target market not only include food Consumers but food businesses in which we provide them with sales statistics and infographics which helps them to reduce waste and increase profit margin. Finally, we provide an E-wallet payment system ComestiblePay which solves the cash change problems that occurs during cash transactions in the food ecosystem. We are currently in the beta stage operating in a niche market of the academic community and already generating revenue with 4 registered restaurants.
7. AgroBarn Limited

LASU AgroBarn is a fast-growing agricultural company operating in the Poultry, Aquaculture and Vegetable industries. It aims to provide all-time quality foods to consumers, and achieve a broader reach through its e-commerce platform. The N5m net profit recorded already attests to its potential in the Nigerian market.
8. 360 Indigo

OAU 360 Indigo is an online e-commerce store where African art works, especially by Nigerian artists, are curated and showcased for sale. We feature art works and art related pieces, by different vendors, such as batik, tie and dye, sculptures, portrait painting, mixed-media works, abstract paintings, still-life, 3D art pieces, paper crafts, terracotta, glaze, pastel, acrylic and oil paintings, wood carvings, indigenous art pieces such as hand woven basket, cane chairs, table pieces, carved stools, handmade traditional attires;aso oke; and other art souvenirs and mementos. Our art pieces are suitable for personal use, interior decoration, personal and corporate gifting solutions, seasonal gifts and events decoration. 360 Indigo vendors/artists display their works for free while we get a commission ranging between 5%-20% on each sale. The market we would play in includes the interior and event decoration, gifting and souvenir market; a staple in the Nigerian society, fashion and the art market.
9. Calculus Eduaids

UNN Calculus EDUaids, the first mobile teaching aids hub in Nigeria, is at the forefront of providing innovative solutions to the identified gaps in our educational system by developing a well targeted solution that entails research, design and distribution of curriculum based instructional materials/learning aids across Nigerian and African secondary schools.
10. Bella 94

UNILAG Bella 94 is a luxury brand which designs and sells quality clothing at an affordable price.  we specialize in ready-to-wear Iro and buba set, abayas and kaftans, Ankara shorts and dresses etc. We also deal in custom made attires. We started in June 2016 with our custom-made attires, and we are working towards having an online store to make it easier for clients to buy our ready-to-wear collection from the comfort of their homes.  Our attires are mostly for clients between the ages of 18-45, and they come in different sizes to suit all our client’s needs.

12. Meal Girl

OAU Meal girl is a fast-casual restaurant, serving fresh, fast, and healthy meals. The first store is in Obafemi Awolowo university, Ile-Ife Osun state with aggressive growth plans of one new store every 12 months. Meal Girl operates within the fast-casual niche of the restaurant industry, competing against fast food and traditional sit down restaurants. Meal Girl provides an unmet dining experience. All patrons receive excellent customer service, encouraging them to return. The menu offerings are fast, simple, healthy, and easy to prepare.
13. Shopity Nigeria

FUTO Shopity is an easy and fun way to get fantastic fashion products and accessories. At Shopity we support local merchants and in return they support consumers with excellent products! We want to create a “Win-Win” scenario each day for local merchants who want to attract new customers, and consumers who want to buy affordable and quality product. Shopity aims to eliminate the hassles of shopping at various locations at a time and worrying about safety and delivery while ensuring that customers get the best prices for quality.
14. WiredJob

FUTO Wiredjob is an online/mobile platform where small businesses can advertise their businesses free of charge, freelancers can meet with new clients who post jobs/tasks on the platform, and budding enthusiasts could amass revenue by joining the wiredjobaffiliate programme to post links of jobs or products to be sold and in turn get a percentage for every job completed or product sold.

Wiredjob has an online presence and an offline presence made up of engineers and IT personnel in charge of the wiredjobfix – a platform where problems with gadgets and home appliances can be repaired by wiredjob engineers after the problem has been posted on the site. The gadget/appliance is collected from the home of the client by wiredjobagents and after repair, is delivered to the client at home.

15. eTrash2Cash

UNIABUJA eTrash2Cash is the premier and first of its kind technology-waste management company in northern Nigeria. It uses ICT to collect wastes from households and commercial hubs and pays them instant online incentives (cash rewards), called “cash4trash” via mobile wallet system.
16. Rafani Exclusive

FUTA Rafani Exclusive is an upcoming name in the fashion industry, having its niche in women wares. Aside its concept of producing footwear for women, Rafani intends to offer training on the vocation.
17. Tunbuk Farms

UNILORIN Agriculture in Nigeria is dominated by smallholder farmers (about 60%) who produce 90% of Nigeria’s domestic food supply. The small-scale fisheries sector remains the backbone of fish production in Nigeria contributing an annual average of 96.2 per cent of the total fish production despite the low technological development. Markets, fishermen and farmers suffer post-harvest loss due to lack of storage facilities, to store their products for sale. Fish, fresh fruits and vegetables start to deteriorate as soon as they are harvested because they are cut off from their source of water and nutrition. They lose weight, texture, flavour, nutritional value and appeal. Our organization will respond and deploy Solar Powered Refrigeration ColdKiosk systems at a Pay As You Go model while helping farmers extend the shelf-life of their produce and increase their earning power.

19. EDEN Eco Solutions

UNIPORT We are a response to the increasing quantities of dirt that emanate from our cities daily and its attendant environmental consequences. Our niche is household waste and condemned motor oil. The innovative component of our business is the extra-value given to our customers who are households, corporate institutions and motor-vehicle maintenance outfits in form of incentives for properly sorted waste and eventually recycling them. Our market size presents us an opportunity of 541,115 people in Port Harcourt city alone with the rest of the state having an average population density of 1500/km2 per the National Populations Commission (2006) estimate.
20. Bata Online

Igbinedion Bata.ng is an Ecommerce marketing initiative that has spurned more than 5000 orders in its business lifetime. It is a business that has established itself in the Ecommerce industry in its three (3) fruitful years of existence. We have gainfully carved a business niche for ourselves, which has secured us with a clientele base of over 3000 customers and has the potential to reach millions.

Bata.ng gainfully employs 6 persons. Bata.ng markets a variety of fashion items through various platforms such as jumia, konga, and classifieds. Bata.ng has its own online platform as well, where it markets its own products at its cheapest, absent of commissions.

21. Green2wealth

FUNAAB Lagos State (our pilot location) has an estimated population of 17 million people and daily generates an average of 9,000 metric tonnes of waste of which 1,200 metric tonnes are currently recycled. Recyclables form the bulk of identifiable items at refuse points in Nigeria. Oftentimes, the drainage channels in the metropolis cities are blocked by these recyclable items and the resultant effect during the rainy season is flood and breeding ground for harmful organisms. Green2wealth as a waste recycling and social benefit venture that hopes to operates an incentive-based scheme which collects recyclable materials from post consumers and in turn rewards them with “Points” which they can accumulate and use to redeem/shop for household items offered. At the moment, we work in partnership with WECYCLERS as an individual Contractor to deliver the recyclable materials.
22. Babel Language School

UNILORIN Our mission is to equip the next generation of Nigeria’s diplomat, top-level career officers and global business people with the international language proficiency skills needed to foster global collaborations, compete, harness opportunities, be relevant in this competitive, dynamic and knowledge-based world of the 21st century. We teach French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German and Chinese languages in a relaxed atmosphere and will soon be starting language learning through software and audio. When this kick-off, we will be the first Nigerian language school to do such.
23. CrowdfundingAg

FCA, Ibadan CrowdfundingAg is an agribusiness investment portfolio development and management startup with focus on minimum viable indigenous and high valued food and exotic crops production, processing, packaging and marketing with go-to-market strategy. We Crowdsource people to invest and managing it for them to attain financial freedom and equally boost food investment. The company is presently focused on cassava value chain potentials valued at $51 billion in Nigeria per the corporate data farm, AsokoInsights. And with 5 acres of cassava plantations and 3 clients now, our revenues at this stage comes from management fee we charged per acre including percentage commission on return on investment.
24 Intaconn

FUTO INTACONN is a goods delivery company, operating with a concept that reduces the conventional delivery time of 3 to 7 days to a considerable shorter duration of about 23 to 42 hours across cities in Nigeria. This sounds unreachable but, with the implementation of a tactics called Interpersonal Assigned Transport Code (IATCODE). Everybody is employed on the chain. since everybody moves from one place to another, goods can also move along with them at a more affordable shipping cost to different destination across the country.
25. Arojintech

FUTA The name, Arojintech was derived from the ancient Yoruba word “Arojinle” and “Technology” meaning “in-depth thinking” of indigenous technological solutions appropriately, therefore, the commitment of the company is to spread technologies for harnessing renewable energy (RE). The term “renewable” refers to sources of energy that can never be diminished or exhausted, such as biomass, biogas, wind and sun. We promote the optimal utilization of all kinds of renewable energy resources and aim to expand possible avenues for more sources of renewable energy.
26. Rite Clip Konsults

UI We provide technology solutions ranging from active network systems, customized software solutions, website design and development, mobile app development, IT training and Technology Consultancy for various industries. Our solutions and expertise covers a wide range of industries including the Nigerian educational sector, telecommunications, banking, Oil and Gas, retail sectors, amongst others.
27. Mobile FaSD

FUTA Mobile FaSD (Facial Symptoms Diagnosis) is a Mobile app developed to diagnose and recommend treatment of diseases by using facial features, body signs and symptoms and most importantly, differential diagnosis. There are about 2 billion smartphone users in the World, Africa has about 1 billion mobile subscribers, 65% of which are smartphone users, however, more than 95 per cent of the world’s population is ill, the new analysis based on the 2013 Global Burden of Disease Study found. With the difficulty people face in getting an appointment with a doctor for diagnosis (especially in most African Countries), Mobile FaSD is creating a Cheap, Simple, Easy and Fashionable way of health diagnosis. Our prototype is currently being developed for Malaria diagnosis.
